I’ve been having some really great calls lately. So thank you to those of you who are calling. I get a lot fewer calls on this account than I wish I did, but at least the calls I do get are really worth getting. The callers are intelligent, funny, interesting and respectful and I really appreciate the type of client that this account draws.

I got my first paying gig as a photographer!! I’ve gone shopping a few times in the past week to style the shoot and I’m really excited about it, but the model was supposed to post yesterday and she didn’t show up. So I’m looking for a new one now.

I’m doing another shoot on tonight with my own model…the first time I’ve done a shoot in an actual professional studio. I’m super stoked about this one too. Having a new photographer should give things a little boost since the pics will be a bit different and this guy is gonna teach me some stuff about studio lighting and photo editing too.

I’m gonna go in and do a shoot in the studio myself too soon, in preparation for a new project I’m putting together. I think it’s gonna be pretty spectacular and cause a lot of commotion, but I’m gonna do it anyway.

I pampered myself. I got a new dress, a cut and color at my favorite salon and my nails done. Then I went out to dinner with 12 of my best friends in the world and to a comedy show. Since food and comedy are two of my favorite things, that right there makes that a stellar night, in my opinion….but it was even better because we went up to Seattle and ate at a nice place I’d never been to before. We got all dressed up and had a great time.

I wish I’d stopped to think for a minute and get a good picture of myself by myself to post here, but I didn’t. I was too busy having fun.

I don’t really have much else to talk about. Lame, right? I saw “Hot Tub Time Machine” last night and it was super hilarious. GREAT stoner movie. I watched “Pandorum” too, on DVD. A futuristic sci-fi thriller, it was unexpectedly riveting.

Life’s been pretty good this month so far. I’ve lost a little bit of weight and though I’m nowhere NEAR winning the little contest I arranged between friends, I’m happy with my progress. Too bad I wasted a few days earlier this week doing a disgusting “cleanse”. I lost 2 lbs. which I immediately gained right back. That’s what I get for drinking stuff that tastes like rotten pineapple on purpose.

I’m playing a bit of catch up financially because I took a weekend off at the beach that I didn’t really plan for. I had to do it though, I needed some time off and away. It was definitely worth it. I’ve felt more relaxed since then.

Professionally, things have been ok. I made a ton of money in gift cards this month, which will come in handy shortly when we redecorate what’s now the “library/office” into my daughter’s room.

I did a photo shoot yesterday with my most recent model which went well. That character is pulling its weight and even more, considering the way things are on Niteflirt now.

But I’m back. It’s a new year and I’m saying goodbye to 2009, one of the worst years of my life. Right now I only have a couple of minutes because one of my models is on her way over to do a custom photo shoot for a few of that character’s callers. I’ve gotta shoot her in some special panties and some new sneakers. Fun stuff!

Then later, one of my friends is taking me to pick up my car and then we’re gonna make some lumpia. It broke down on New Year’s Eve when I was driving back home from a couple of days with a friend down in Portland. Yep, broke down like 1.5 away from my house. It cost me $300 to have it towed home, another $100 to have it towed to the shop when it opened back up after New Year’s and then $225 to have it fixed. UGH.

I think I’m gonna go see “Sherlock Holmes” today too. I’ve heard really good things about it from everyone I know who’s seen it. I already saw “Avatar”. LOVED IT!

I should be on after that though, hope some of you feel like playing…I need to catch up since I had an unexpected car repair RIGHT after Christmas!

I’m a pretty creative person, but when it comes to graphics, I not only lack any type of training (formal or informal), I just generally suck at everything I attempt.

My newest site is DONE though and I’m SO EXCITED about it. I love playing new characters, exposing myself to new callers, creating a back story and a personality behind the character. I used a new designer for this project too and am not only 100% satisfied with her work ethic, I absolutely love her design style. I usually have a lot of changes I want to make to a design when I first see it, but I loved this one almost exactly how she presented it to me. It’s awesome.

That said, I want to try and do things a bit differently this time around. I’m not really worried about being recognized because of certain things I do, but I want to try and make things easier on myself as well. So instead of making galleries of pictures, I’m just going to sell them in 3 picture sets and then as a larger zip file for the entire collection per photo shoot.

I know that these pictures are amazing though, by far the best ones I’ve ever done. I don’t want them all over the internet. They aren’t nudes, so hopefully that will help a little bit, but I don’t want anyone taking them and using them on Niteflirt or Myspace or anything like that either.

What’s my point? I’ve never really watermarked a picture. I didn’t know how. I looked it up online though and not only taught myself how to make a watermark, but I created an action for it in Photoshop and then learned how to batch watermark an entire folder of images! YAY ME!!

I have a couple of characters that I really just need to retire. I don’t enjoy playing them, they never developed a loyal following and they just don’t generate any income anymore. That’s fine…out with the old, in with the new!

It’s been really hot here for a few days and we spent the whole day at the lake yesterday. It was great, we brought the little “easy up” tent, lawn chairs, a cooler…the whole 9 yards. The kids got to swim and I got to just relax.

When we were blowing up some floats using the electric pump, my van died (yes, I drive a mini van and no, you cannot laugh) and wouldn’t start again. My dad came out and gave us a jump and I took it into a shop today to get looked at. I need a new alternator. LAME!

I guess I can’t complain too much though. I bought it brand new and have had it going on 4 yrs. I think. It’s had to have some stuff done that the I didn’t have to pay for, but other than that, has been a pretty damn good vehicle. If my dad does the labor, it will cost me less than $250 to get it fixed. If I take it back to that shop, I’m looking at around $600.

Life’s been going pretty well, otherwise. I hadn’t talked to my ex boyfriend since our last encounter where he came to my house for a party and left because he didn’t feel welcome by some of my other friends. We had a pretty huge fight that day and hadn’t talked at all since.

He started texting me about a week ago and while I ignored him at first, I just couldn’t help myself. Even though he’s now living with a girl (yeah, I was pretty fucking astounded at that little tidbit of info), we met up at a hotel on Friday night and spent the night together. Of course, it was amazing and we’ve been talking casually ever since.

There are no plans for us to get back together, but I’m leaning toward cutting off contact again because I don’t want to risk going back down that road. I can feel it coming already.

Even with the hot weather, calls have been good this month overall and I’ve gotten spoiled pretty well. I got a sizeable Victoria’s Secret gift card the other day and have managed to replenish my Amazon account to a comfortable amount. I like having some on reserve for gifts and random things I might decide I need.

My kitchen remodel is still taking longer than I wish it would. The counters are tiled now, but need to be grouted and sealed. We still need to put cabinet doors back up too. It’s times like this when I realize how much I really DO need to enter into a cuckold relationship. A cuck would have had those doors back up weeks ago!

Alright, I think that’s enough of an update for now. Calls are slow today for some reason, but I’ll be here on and off all day. It’s too hot to go anywhere else!

I need to get better lighting in my bedroom for night time calls, which is probably the only time I’ll actually do cam shows, but other than that, I’m set. The general opinion during my tests was that the resolution of the cam wasn’t the greatest, but it was acceptable to start.

I think it might actually be fun. I watch guys on their cams all the time, so it should be exhilarating to BE watched. I just hope a bunch of dumb asses don’t call and tell me to start fucking myself with a dildo. I’ve got my fingers crossed that having a cam listing only in “mistresses” will prevent that from happening.

In other news, I had a new model unexpectedly thrown at me, so I’m developing a new character. My little group of characters is changing…I think I’m going to drop an early 20’s/BBW/black cock loving character that has stalled out lately. I’ve played her for a few years, but have never really connected with the character and don’t really like any of her callers. I guess that’s come across because her scores have plummeted and I rarely get calls on that account anymore. I might give the pictures to a friend to rework and use.

I also have a MILF character whose price I raised through the roof because I was so tired of taking those calls too. I had her really cheap to begin with, but now that call volume is back to normal, I don’t need to take those cheap calls. The listing isn’t really comprehensive enough to attract calls at a higher price though. I definitely need to do something with it.

My three main accounts are doing well, so I just need to find a place to work in this new one. The girl is HOT…18, blonde, really super blue eyes and a fan-fucking-tastic body. I think I’m leaning toward “small town slut” even though her look screams “brat domme”. I have a very successful brat domme account already though and don’t think I have enough creative energy to run two.They’re very labor intensive.

The highest rated listings have 1/6 the points that the highest rated mistresses listings do, which point to an overall lack of call volume, but I’ve heard there can be good money there if you’re good….which I am.

So I think that’s the direction I’ll go in. Small town submissive slut. I’ll be doing the photo shoot sometime this week and then site design will/account set up will take a few days.
